Œuvre rire la faune être was the title given to a sculptural installation exhibited in a group exhibition at the Saidye Bronfman Center in Montreal. The invited artists were each given a large tree branch to create a “tree-house” for a thematic exhibition. While the resulting sculptural installation was more of a “house-tree”, the work inspired discussions concerning nature versus culture and the importance of understanding art in relation to environmental issues.
