* Œuvre rire la faune être was the title given to a sculptural installation exhibited in a group exhibition at the gallery of the Saidye Bronfman Center in Montreal. The invited artists were each given a large tree branch to create a “tree-house” for a thematic exhibition. While the resulting art work was more of a “house-tree”, the work inspired discussions surrounding issues of nature/culture and the importance of understanding art in relation to environmental issues.
