*Boîte de nuit was a completely sealed cube which contained a powerful built-in sound system, (with very loud dance music), colored spinning lights, a strobe light and a glitter ball. The resulting work created the impression of standing outside of a nightclub waiting to enter. The colored glass blocks mounted on each of the four walls allowed a translucent an inhibited view of the “party atmosphere” inside.
